A dash cam is mounted on the windscreen of your car and records everything that happens in front of the vehicle, which can be very useful as insurance evidence in the event of a traffic accident or damage to the car.

The DVR-F800PRO records in 1080p Full HD quality at 30 frames per second, and thanks to the advanced Sony Exmor STARVIS image sensor, you get really high image quality even in darkness.

The camera automatically starts recording when you start the engine and records in 1-minute segments continuously. In the event of an accident, the 3-axis G-sensor reacts by saving a video from 10 seconds before the incident.

The DVR-F800PRO has built-in GPS which, along with the recording, logs where you are driving and at what speed.

Several warning features are also built-in:
The lane warning system monitors if you veer onto the wrong side of the road and warns you. Front collision warning measures the distance to the vehicle in front and alerts you if it is stationary. If you are stopped behind a car, for example at a traffic light, and it moves off without you noticing, the camera beeps. You can also download a speed camera database to receive warnings when a camera is approaching.

Parking mode:
The DVR-F800PRO includes a parking mode that monitors what happens when the car is parked. If it detects the slightest movement, such as someone driving into the car or hitting it, the camera will record a video sequence. It will then notify you the next time you start the car if there is any footage to view from the parking.

Smartphone App:
Download the Thinkware Dash Cam Mobile Viewer app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to manage the camera. There you can view, download, or delete video clips. Update the camera's software or see live what the camera is showing. The camera connects via WiFi.

Two different power options are included. A cigarette lighter plug that you can easily connect, or a longer cable for permanent installation that connects directly to the battery.
