The Champion Inverter Generator 2000W Dual Fuel runs on both LPG and petrol. It is designed to handle both fuel types and features an EZ Start function for easy starting. The generator has a digital control panel that displays fuel level, load, remaining runtime, and maintenance information. Powered by an 80cc engine, it can operate up to 11 hours at 25% load on petrol. The generator runs quietly at only 53dB and includes an ECO mode for increased fuel efficiency. The pure sine wave output makes it safe for sensitive electronics, and it can also be connected to another generator using the ParaLINK kit. CE-marked and Euro 5 certified for full compliance with European standards.
Advantages of LPG:
The main advantage of LPG is its low fuel consumption. (Running on LPG is approximately 30%-50% cheaper than petrol). As petrol prices continue to rise, this becomes an even more attractive option.
Consumption: 0.33-0.65 kg/hour depending on load.
More flexibility, as you can connect larger gas cylinders and are not limited by the tank size of the generator.
Cleaner emissions allow use in environments where petrol is not suitable, such as near food or in areas where petrol is prohibited due to fire risk.
No petrol smell during storage.
Minimal risk of fuel spills, as LPG is not a liquid fuel.
Reduced maintenance, since LPG burns cleaner; petrol can degrade over time and clog the carburetor.
Extended lifespan of the generator’s components.
Easier refueling – simply attach a new gas bottle. As more campsites prohibit petrol and diesel, the demand for LPG-compatible generators is expected to increase.
Please note: Champion is sold in the Nordic/European market and comes standard with an EU-type gas regulator (4175 200). A separate Swedish regulator is included and can easily be swapped. The pressed gas hose should be cut at the crimped end to attach the Swedish regulator, which should then be secured with a hose clamp.
Alternatively, you can keep the EU regulator and use an adapter for Swedish gas bottles. See Accessories.
