Phoenix Multi is more than just a box with a charger and an inverter working separately. Victron has taken the technology much further and combined the charger and inverter into one unit — a "power block". The transition between charging and inverting happens seamlessly, ensuring continuous and reliable power supply.
With the MultiPlus-II, power systems can be designed to meet any imaginable need in a holiday home. The MultiPlus-II can automatically start and stop the generator during low battery capacity or high load (provided the generator has auto start/stop functionality), or it can signal that generator start is recommended. The generator can be remotely controlled via a relay contact.
Phoenix MultiPlus-II 3000 can be connected in series or in parallel. Up to six units can be connected in parallel for increased capacity. Three units can be connected for three-phase power (400 volts). This means there are virtually no limits to the system size.
During installation, the unit must be programmed for the battery type in use and the output capacity of the generator. This ensures the best possible system performance. Software is available for free download from Victron's website. For connection, the Victron Interface MK3 USB and an RJ45 network cable to a PC/laptop are required.
