The product DK-DOX ® AKTIV BASIC is a highly effective disinfectant for basic disinfection of tanks and water systems. It effectively removes biofilm, which is a breeding ground for harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, single-celled organisms, viruses, and fungi that can make us ill.
Use DK-DOX AKTIV BASIC every spring in preparation for the upcoming season. If the water system is used all year round, a basic disinfection should be carried out at least twice a year.
Treating the drinking water itself without performing a basic disinfection that removes the biofilm is neither effective nor safe.
DK-DOX AKTIV is an active solution ready to use. An unopened bottle stored in a dark and cool place will last at least a year.
The activated solution is poured directly into the tank that is filled with water. The water in the tank must not be consumed or used for washing during the process. After disinfection, the tank should be completely emptied. DK-DOX is biodegradable, and the tank can be emptied directly into the drain. The system does not need to be rinsed after the basic disinfection and can be filled directly with clean water.
1. Pour the activated solution into the tank (pour in the entire contents of the bottle),
2. Fill the vehicle's water system completely,
3. Open all taps/outlets one by one so that the disinfectant flows through all pipes and parts of the system,
4. Close all taps and let it sit and act for at least 6 hours (preferably overnight),
5. Empty the entire system into the drain (no rinsing),
6. Fill with clean water.
