Dometic CoolAir RTX 1000 is a roof-mounted, freestanding 12 V air conditioning unit developed for vans, trucks, and special vehicles where efficient cooling needs to be combined with low energy consumption. The advanced variable-speed compressor automatically adjusts the output according to cooling demand, reducing energy consumption, providing longer running time, and decreasing strain on the vehicle's battery.

With a cooling capacity of up to 1,100 W according to ISO 5151, the cabin can be cooled down quickly even on hot days. The low noise level and minimal vibrations simultaneously contribute to a comfortable environment during breaks and overnight stays.

The advanced sensor technology monitors operation and helps avoid unnecessary battery load. The air conditioning unit is tested for reliable operation at outdoor temperatures up to 52 °C and is adapted for use in demanding environments.

The fan speed can be adjusted in five steps, either directly on the unit or with the included remote control. Four operating modes are available to choose from: Auto, Eco, Boost, and Manual, making it easy to adjust comfort according to current conditions.
