Dometic CoolAir RTX 2000 is a roof-mounted, free-standing 12 V air conditioning unit developed for vans, trucks, and special vehicles where high cooling performance needs to be combined with low energy consumption. The advanced inverter compressor automatically adjusts the power according to the cooling needs, reducing energy consumption, providing longer running time, and decreasing the load on the vehicle's battery.

With a cooling capacity of up to 1,700 W according to ISO 5151, the cabin can be cooled down quickly even on very hot days. The low noise level and minimal vibrations contribute to a comfortable environment during breaks and overnight stays.

The advanced sensor technology monitors operation and helps to avoid unnecessary battery load. The air conditioning unit is tested for reliable performance at outdoor temperatures of up to 52 °C and is adapted for demanding working and climate conditions.

The fan speed can be adjusted in five steps, either directly on the unit or via the included remote control. With operating modes Auto, Eco, Boost, and Manual, the cooling can be adapted to current needs and desired comfort.
