Good to know about melamine!
Hand wash if possible; melamine is dishwasher safe up to a maximum of 45°C. Avoid hot liquids. Melamine can withstand temperatures up to a maximum of 80°C. Coffee from a brewer/machine is around 80°C after cooling for about two minutes. Do not use in a microwave, as the structure of the melamine will be damaged and cracks may occur.
