The lock is manufactured in the UK and designed to exceed the requirements for Sold Secure Gold, one of the most demanding independent security certifications for theft protection. The robust steel construction offers very high resistance to common theft methods such as crowbar attacks, drilling, sawing, hammering, and freeze attacks. Despite its sturdy construction, the lock is compact, relatively lightweight, and easy to install.
Installation is done by placing the lock body in front of the pedal, after which the cover is attached and locked in place. The pedal is then enclosed and cannot be used. The model comes with an extra foam base for a proper fit.
