These heavy-duty storm straps from Svenska-Tält are designed to provide extra stability in windy conditions. The storm straps can be mounted in two different ways at the corner of the frame, either inside the tent or outside under the canopy.

Mounting option 1: See image 2, around the roof pole and straight down toward the inner corner of the tent.
Mounting option 2: See image 3, around the corner joint between the roof pole and canopy pole, where the holder of the short strap is threaded outward through the hole, then the storm strap is pulled diagonally down toward the outer corner. This option is primarily recommended.

Ground peg material: Stainless steel
Important: The ground peg must be driven into the ground at an angle to the strap, not in the same direction. Otherwise there is a risk that the peg may be pulled out more easily. Preferably more than 45 degrees away from the strap line. Never tighten the storm straps so that the tent becomes tensioned. They are only intended to assist in strong winds and catch the tent if it blows hard, and must therefore remain movable.
