Left or right?
This depends on whether you have the outer wall on your left or right side when sitting on the toilet. If you are sitting down on the toilet and have the outer wall on your left side, you should buy left. Buy right if the outer wall is on your right side.

Can I use my regular household cleaning products?
No. Regular household cleaning products can cause permanent damage to seals and other toilet components. Therefore, Thetford has a wide range of specially developed toilet care products.

Why can't I remove the waste tank?
Check if the blade is (partially) open. If the blade is stuck, first loosen the lid from
the outlet pipe.

What do I need to know about the toilet while driving?
To prevent leaks and water damage to your caravan or motorhome, avoid driving
with water in the toilet bowl, with a flush water tank filled to more than half, or with a
waste tank filled to more than three-quarters.

What toilet does my vehicle have?
Open the hatch where the waste tank is located, and there should be a label with Thetford's model number on the toilet bowl. Sometimes there is also a product label on the back of the toilet bowl.

How do I empty the waste tank?
1. Check the level indicator to see if the tank needs emptying.
2. Move the waste tank using the wheels and handle to the campsite's designated emptying point.
3. Twist the outlet pipe and remove the lid.
4. Press and hold the vent button with your thumb while the outlet pipe is directed downwards. Empty the waste tank.

Preparation before use
1. Open the service hatch on the outside of the vehicle and remove the waste tank.
2. Add the correct dose of water and Aqua Kem Blue (Sachets or liquid) or Aqua Kem Green (Sachets or liquid) for perfect odour control and easier emptying.
3. Slide the cassette back in, and you are ready.
