This compact air conditioning system is designed for vans, vans with pop-up roofs and semi-integrated motorhomes. The construction allows effective air conditioning without using roof space or affecting the natural light from a roof window. The interior unit is discreetly installed in the vehicle's centre console, while the external unit consists of two parts mounted behind the bumper and connected with flexible hoses.

The system provides both effective cooling and heating using a heat pump. Three fan speeds plus automatic mode make it easy to adjust the airflow as required. The air vents can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally, while the temperature can be set between 16 and 31 °C. The display shows the temperature and the system is controlled with an IR remote control.

SterilAir Pro uses UV-A LED technology with photocatalysis to purify the air. The technology is stated to be highly effective at reducing organic contaminants, bad odours, viruses, bacteria, formaldehyde and benzenes. The UV-A LED unit can operate continuously 24/7 and has low energy consumption. Unlike mercury lamps, LED technology switches on instantly and has a longer expected lifespan of approximately 20,000-30,000 hours.

Tests performed by accredited laboratories have demonstrated a high reduction of viruses and bacteria. According to the stated test results, the photocatalysis system and UV-A LED technology reduced the viral load of SARS-CoV-2 by 99.998% after 30 minutes.

The two units are connected with watertight connection pipes and quick couplings. R134a refrigerant is pre-filled and distributed throughout the system. Installation must be carried out by an authorised workshop.
